Dr. Jacalyn J. McComb

I have worked at universities all my professional life and am an Emeritus Professor of Clinical Exercise Physiology at Texas Tech University where I worked for over 35 years. I retired from academic and hospital institutions, but remain involved in the community doing what I love best, helping people become the best version of themselves through thoughtful and prudent exercise. You do not have to be an Olympic Athlete to be healthy, but you must be active. Exercise changes your physiology, it changes the pathways that you utilize for fuel. Diet alone will not make you healthy, but healthy eating, healthy exercise, healthy spirituality, and stable loving social interactions is a good place to start becoming the best version of yourself.

My research at the university, for over 35 years, was targeted at helping people reduce the distress in their lives through exercise, breathing techniques, and meditation or some may call it prayer. While I believe in the power of prayer, that is not what I am certified to help you with. But I can help you with exercise, breathing techniques, and methods to help you reduce distress in your life.

There is not one answer for everyone, but there is an answer for everyone. What I would like to do is to help you find your answer through healthy forms of  exercise, breathing techniques, and methods of stress management uniquely designed to help you.

If you think that I have the background and the skills to help you, but you cannot afford the prices that I am charging, please reach out to me and hopefully we can find a cost-effective way to help you become the best version of yourself.
